Troy BunkleyJeremy Megginson currently serves as percussion specialist for the Willard R-2 School District in Willard, MO. Prior to this, he served as Assistant Band Director and Director of Percussion at Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs, UT from 2015-2019. While serving in this capacity, the Westlake Marching Band performed at the Rose Parade, BOA Grand Nationals, was a BOA finalist each year in both California, and Utah, and the band placed in the top 3 in the Utah state marching band championship each year. In addition to the success of the marching band, the percussion ensembles at Westlake received 1st place honors in each of Megginson's 4 years at the Utah Day of Percussion. This event has over 800 student participants and is the largest single day percussion event outside of PASIC in the country. Each of Megginson's groups were state champions in advanced large ensemble, intermediate large ensemble, mallet chamber ensemble, and percussion chamber ensemble. During this time, students of Megginson also finished top 3 in the state in rudimental snare drum, orchestral snare drum, timpani, and marimba. Jeremy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of South Alabama, and a MM in Percussion Performance from the University of Utah.
