The PMC Quick Note is part of our mission to support the lives of band directors across the Midwest. The Quick Note contains helpful tips and suggestions from area directors, spotlights on area college and university band programs, calendars of upcoming events, advocacy articles promoting music education, links to helpful web resources, and much more.  Comments, suggestions, ideas, and articles are always welcome.

Helpful Repertoire Resource - You MUST Check This Out!

The website www.windrep.org is definitely worth putting in your shortcuts! This site contains a growing catalog of wind band repertoire. You can sort by difficulty level, form and style categories, or even the composer's country of origin. For each of the 2,310 compositions on the site, you can find instrumentation, program notes, publisher, duration, composer bios, discography, related compositions, and much more! Be sure to use this fabulous resource and keep it growing by adding your own information to the expanding site.
