Summer Band Director Workshop - July 6-9

The Palen Music Center educational staff, along with the Missouri State University band department, have joined together to create a summer band director workshop. Sessions will include student leadership, instrument repair, teaching beginners, advanced marching band rehearsal techniques and visual development, student recruitment and retention, roundtable discussions, literature selection, and even a reading band. Graduate credit is also available if desired. Click on the image below for a printable flyer.

The camp will be held from July 6-9. The cost is $130 per director....but wait....you can come for free if you send at least 10 students to the Missouri State Bands Alive student camp. We would love to see you there! For more information, please contact Eric Matzat or AAron Bryan.
